The Importance of Configuring Meta Pixel

Nowadays, many people want to start a business. Most people turn to online companies because they are motivated by others who earn a lot of money. However, some people don’t realize that business isn’t an easy venture. They simply create a social media page and begin sending message campaigns on Facebook. Just a few days later, they become discouraged, even if they get a few sales in the beginning. Within two or three weeks, their business is gone.

Why Do Most People Fail in Business:

Some individuals enter business expecting to earn a lot of money overnight. But they don’t understand that it’s not like a regular job. It’s a company where you must know how business works, how it generates revenue, how much patience is needed to see profit, and how to make the right investments, among other things. You must have prior experience in the type of business you’re pursuing.

Benefits of Meta or Facebook Pixel:

When setting up an F-commerce business, you need a website to achieve significant sales. After creating Facebook pages, go to Meta Business Manager and create a business manager account, ad account, and dataset (Pixel’s new version). When you connect the Pixel Event Manager with the website via GTM (Google Tag Manager), the Facebook Event Manager will be able to track your customers. Once Meta Pixel gathers user data, your ads will optimize quickly, allowing you to attract actual customers and achieve high sales with low advertising costs.

How to Connect the Pixel with Your Website:

If you are not very technical, you can use plugins. However, a better option is to set it up manually with Google Tag Manager. You can use the plugin “Pixel Your Site,” but it requires a monthly payment. If you can, my suggestion is to set it up yourself, but if not, contact someone who can set up your tracking with GTM (which is a free Google product). This way, you can gain many benefits at no cost.

Browser-Side Tracking and Server-Side Tracking:

In the past, we could gather customer data from browsers. However, with Apple’s recent update, we can no longer track iOS user data through browsers. This is why we now have to use server data and send it to the Event Manager. If we want to create an almost accurate data chart to make informed decisions, we must implement server-side tracking.
