By the time you read this, you will know what happened in the Argentina match or Bangladesh’s Super 8 match. I am hoping both goes well – but hey, you know by now how wrong I was.
I get this question a lot:
Russell, if you had to make money in Bangladesh within 2 months, what would you do?
In today’s Friday – I will break down my step by step process of how I would make money from Bangladesh in 2 months or less.
Let’s begin.
Week 1: Be Great at Facebook Marketing
If you go to Passive Journal’s YT channel (if you are a PJ member then wait for the advanced meta marketing course which will be released next month) – you will find our basic meta marketing course.
That’s a good starting point.
It is a 3.5 hour course that will teach you all the basics you need to know about meta marketing (fancy way of saying FB & Instagram marketing).
In 1 week, you will know more about meta marketing than 99% of the world.

Week 2 & 3: Be ok with Video Editing
If you are a Passive Journal member, go to your dashboard and watch the two video editing courses we have. That’s more than enough.
If you are not a PJ member, go on YouTube and try to find basic video editing courses. I am sure you will find some.
Now record 10 videos (not 9, not 8 – 10) about meta marketing.
Use your phone and a white background. Invest in a mic if you can – don’t worry if you can’t.
The videos will be informative and will target business owners of Bangladesh.
Here are some ideas:

- How to get better conversion from FB ads
- Why you shouldn’t use Boost
- What’s the best time in BD to run ads
Bla Bla.
Week 3: Run Video View Ads
You already know how to run video view campaigns from week 1. It is time to put it in action.
All 10 videos should have at least 2 video view campaigns each – target only FB page admins of Bangladesh.
Spend as much as you can.
Week 4: Talk to Incoming Leads (not chat)
If you did everything right, you will now start receiving queries on your FB page + comments on those videos.
Reply to each comment + inbox dm and ask for a zoom call. Not phone call, not chat.
Only Zoom calls.
In the call, talk to them about their business and give them consultation on how they can improve their meta marketing.
Don’t ask for money. Just ask for a review on the page. Collect 20+ reviews
Week 5: Time for B2B deals
I want you to do at least 1 B2B deal in this week that will help you get more clients down the line. Here are a few examples of what I am thinking:
- Do a deal with a delivery company so that whoever is their customer gets free marketing consultation from you
- Do a deal with a company that does trade license so that whoever is their customer gets free marketing consultation from you
- Do a deal with a FB group admin (business group)
- Do a deal with an influencer
Try everything – I want you to do at least 1 b2b deal so you can get exposure in a different community.
Week 6: Time for an irresistible offer
It is time for your first offer out to the world. You only have one task.
Make it irresistible.
Here are some options:
- 100% refund if you don’t get any sales from our marketing
- We pay 50% of your ad budget
- Free posts + edits for your page every day if you use our marketing
etc.
And now, run this offer with an ad.
Once you get a lead > go on zoom > close the deal.
Week 7: Make everyone who bought on week 6 delighted
Your only job is to make everyone 150% happy on Week 7. Go to their office, send them flowers, manage their page inbox, send them a hilsha fish at their home – do whatever it takes to make them happy.
They are your clients now and your job is to make their life easier so they can give you more word of mouth leads.
Week 8: Make everything formal
If you did everything right, you now have at least 3 clients and some money. It is time to make things formal. Apply for a trade license, get a bank account for your business and get your BIN / TIN to reduce VAT.
Walla! You got a business that makes money.
